WILD RICE TRADITIONS SUBJECT OF NEW DOCUMENTARY

MARQUETTE – Ojibwe traditions of "wild ricing" in the Upper Peninsula are featured in a new ethnographic documentary by Northern Michigan University professor and filmmaker, Michael Loukinen. Most of the video was recorded in the vicinity of the Lac Vieux Desert community in Watersmeet.
